Enable the uPrint (Xerox) print stapling function on a Mac

This article shows how to enable the stapling of any documents sent to a uPrint device through your Mac.

You will find first the instructions on how to activate stapling in the newest versions of MacOS, further down, for the older versions.

How to enable stapling on Mac OS X 

  1. In the application you wish to print from, go to File > Print.
  2. Open the Printer options section and click on the i next to Printer feature.
  3. Use the drop-down menu to select Finishing options.
  4. From the Stapling drop down, select 1 or 2 staples.


How to enable stapling on Mac OS X (in older versions)

  1. Go to File > Print. Beneath the Orientation section, you will see a dropdown menu.

  2. Select Printer Features from the menu.

  3. In the Feature Sets dropdown menus, select Finishing Options. Many fields, including Stapling, will appear.

  4. In the Stapling dropdown, select your desired stapling option.

  5. Click on Print to submit your job.
