myLab is the web component of the McGill Hazardous Material Management System (HMMS), designed to facilitate safe handling and management of hazardous materials including radioactive materials (RAM), hazardous chemicals (CHEM) and biohazardous materials (BIO) from acquisition to disposal, in accordance with regulatory requirements. An integrated approach to managing hazardous materials has the following benefits:

Who can use it

McGill researchers and students working with hazardous materials in McGill laboratories as well as University Services staff.

Note: The Radiation Safety module can be made available to the Research Institute of the MUHC, for users who are disposing of waste material through McGill's Hazardous Waste Management.


How to request & access the service
