What is the difference between Banner and Minerva?

OVERVIEW

Target audience: McGill faculty, staff, and students

Banner is an Oracle™ enterprise database used by McGill University to store all student, employee, and financial data.

There are two web interfaces to access the Banner database: Minerva and Banner INB (Internet Native Banner). Some administrative tasks can only be performed on one interface; others, on both.
