Service overview

Athletics On-line Services is an online recreational management system available to McGill students, staff, alumni and members of the community (non-McGill staff or students).

Who can use it

Eligible Students:

All students must be registered in a current term to be eligible.

Eligible Employees:
Staff with a valid McGill ID card, including pensioners and employees on leave. Casual employees are not eligible.

Alumni and members of the community (including any students or employees who do not meet the eligibility requirements listed above) can access a reduced set of online services which will be added to as the functionality becomes available.


How to request & access the service

Students and Staff:

There are two ways to get to the Athletics On-Line Services site:

From the myMcGill portal:
Directly from the Athletics site:
  1. Go to  myMcGill portal
  2. Log in using your McGill Username and McGill Password.
  3. Click the On Line Services link in the Athletics & Recreation portlet.

  2. Log in using your McGill Username and McGill Password.

 

Community and McGill Alumni members (non-McGill students and staff):

  1. Contact Athletics & Recreation Client Services to request a set of online credentials. You can do this by e-mail: info.athletics@mcgill.ca, phone: 514-398-7000 ext. 0273# or in person.

  2. Go to the Community-athletics website and log in using the username and password that Athletics & Recreation Client Services provided you.


Cost

There is no cost to use the Athletics On-Line Services site.

Fees for memberships, classes, and intramurals are posted on the site and can be paid online by credit card (Visa and Mastercard). If you don't have a credit card, you can purchase your services in person at the Athletics & Recreation Client Services office, 475 Pine Avenue, where you can pay by cash, cheque or debit card.


Availability

The service is available 24 X 7, except during planned maintenance or outages. Check the System Status page for announcements.


Frequently asked questions


Best practices & policies

Do not change your personal information, including email address, from the On-Line Services site. Such changes should be made in Minerva.

Always be sure to log out of the Athletics On-Line Services site and close the browser when you are finished. Never leave your computer unattended while you are logged in.

NOTE:

Credit card information and all transactions are processed through a secure site with the highest security rating; no credit card information is kept on McGill servers.


Training & documentation

No training is required for staff, students, alumni, or members of the community.

Athletics staff using the system for administrative functions are given job-specific training through the Athletics department.
