Update Personal Information in Minerva


OVERVIEW

Target audience: McGill students

To update your personal information and emergency contact(s) in Minerva:

  1. Log in to Minerva with either your McGill Username and password or McGill ID and Minerva PIN
  2. Go to the Personal tab and follow the instructions below to change your:

NOTE for faculty and staff:

Faculty and staff members can update their addresses, phone numbers, and emergency contact information within Workday.

Addresses and phone numbers

To update your addresses and phone numbers:

  1. Click on Address and Phones
  2. Click on the underlined link to the left of the address you want to update
  3. Enter your changes
  4. Click Submit

Mobile devices

To update your mobile devices:

  1. Click on Mobile Devices
  2. Enter your mobile phone number as per the North American or International character requirements explained on the page
  3. Choose Opt In or Opt Out for McGill | Attention!, McGill's automated notification service
  4. Click Submit

Emergency contacts

To update an existing emergency contact:

  1. Click the name of the contact
  2. Edit the information
  3. Click Submit Changes

To add an emergency contact:

  1. Click New Contact
  2. Fill in the information
  3. Click Submit Changes

To delete an existing emergency contact, please use the links on the page to notify Enrolment Services (students), or Human Resources (staff).
