In this article:
Editing a page/article
To edit a page/article:
- Access the Edit interface:
- For published pages/articles:
- Navigate to the page/article to edit
- Click the New draft tab or, if there is already a draft version that has not been published, click the Edit draft tab to make further changes.
- For un-published pages/articles:
- From the Administration toolbar, click My Workbench.
- Find the page/article you want to edit within the content list.
- Click the edit link at the end of that row under the ACTIONS column.
- Scroll down to the BODY area and edit the page/article content by typing into the WYSIWYG editor or clicking the Source button in the toolbar to edit the HTML code directly.
If you have made substantial edits to the page/article, you may want to describe your modifications in a Revision log message (called Moderation notes for articles); this message appears when looking at the Moderate tab (see Accessing revised pages/articles).
Use the following buttons to review content:
- Preview: Click to view the revised page/article content before you save. You can make additional changes from the preview window.
- View Changes: Click to see what has changed since the last saved version. Your changes are highlighted.
IMPORTANT:
Make sure you do not close the window or log out of the site after previewing the page/article or viewing changes. If you do so, you will lose all your changes.
- Click the Save button to save your changes before navigating away from the page/article.

Accessing revised pages/articles
All revisions, including the published page/article, can be accessed via the MODERATE tab, which appears at the top of the page/article when logged in.
If you have multiple revisions saved, you can click revert to go back to a previous version. You are prompted to confirm; once confirmed, that version immediately becomes the Current version. For more on revisions and features of the MODERATE tab, see Restore a previous version of a web page/article in the WMS.
