Adding and editing footer menu links
From the Administration toolbar, go to Structure > Menus. Click list links on the Footer line.
The drag-and-drop interface allows you to easily move pages around in the footer by clicking on the drag and drop icon and dragging the links up, down, left, and right. Columns, titles, and links that have a checkmark in the ENABLED column appear in the menu that your users see.
Add an item to the footer
- Click on Add link at the top of the drag-and-drop Footer interface.
- Insert the Menu link title as you wish it to appear in the menu structure.
- Insert the Path this footer item links to. You must include a path. If you want create a heading that is not clickable, enter <nolink>. It is required to have a heading in a column to show the web links underneath.
- Optional: Include a Description of the link so that when users hover over it with their cursor, they are provided with additional information.

- Place a checkmark next to Enabled.
- If you want an item to have sub-items, place a checkmark next to Show as expanded. (See the example below where 'Search engines' has two sub-items: Google, Bing.) The footer links can also be reordered later by using the drag-and-drop interface.
- Select the Parent link. The parent link of a non-clickable item (heading) must be a column number. In this example, the parent item for Search engines is Column 2.
- Optional: Items in the footer will be arranged in alphabetical order unless you assign them a Weight. If you have assigned a weight, they will follow the numerical order.
- Click the Save button once you have finished your changes.
The structure should look like this:
- Each heading should be indented under a column.
- Each link should be indented under a heading.
