To obtain access to a WMS site:
Access to any WMS site requires training as well as the authorization of the site sponsor or a site administrator. [UM1] They must request access for a staff member who has completed the required training by submitting the WMS Permissions web form.
Note: Registration is required for all Web Management System (WMS) training and consultations for site management and editing.
Target audience: Staff members who need access to their site as a Site Editor.
Prerequisites: Registration in Writing for the web at McGill (WS-100), McGill's digital standards (WS-101) as well as Designing great digital experiences (WS-102) is required in order to obtain Site Editor privileges. Participants may complete these courses after finishing WMS 300.

This hands-on workshop for Site Editors and Site Managers provides an overview of the main features of the McGill Web Management System and covers editing text, uploading and adding images and documents, and a brief introduction to basic HTML tags.

Target audience: Site editors and site managers who need assistance with developing their site in the WMS.
Prerequisites: Site Editing (WMS 300)
Duration: 25 minutes
Course format: Lab
This lab provides hands-on assistance with the development of websites. After registering, a Teams meeting will be created at the selected time slot and an instructor will join at the selected time for a one-on-one consultation to provide assistance with questions related to WMS functionality. Participants are expected to work autonomously after receiving the required guidance from the instructors.

Target audience: Site editors and site managers who need assistance with developing their site in the WMS using Drupal 10.

This hands-on workshop for Site Editors and Site Managers provides an overview of the main features of the new version of the McGill Web Management System and covers editing text, uploading, adding images and documents, creating pages, editing menus, managing blocks and creating galleries, and a brief introduction to basic HTML tags. The content is adapted to the participant's level of access and previous knowledge of WMS.
