The audio capture tool allows both students and instructors to record and post audio files in .wav format within Announcements (Instructors only), Discussions and Assignments.

The recording experience differs depending on which web browser you use. With Chrome and Firefox, you can now attach a pre-recorded audio file, in addition to recording directly within myCourses.
Recorded audio will appear as one of the following links, below the discussion message, announcement, or assignment description:

To start recording, click the red record button. | To start recording, click New Recording. |
While you are recording, the record button will have a ring around it. |
While you are recording, Stop Recording will be highlighted. |
* If you are using Chrome of Firefox, you will see an additional screen asking you to enter a title and description for your recording. You can skip this extra step by leaving the fields blank and clicking Add.
To remove a recording, click the red X beside the audio file.
