Target audience: Students
Instructors can either assign students to groups manually or allow students to enroll themselves in a group of their choice. If the instructor has chosen the self-enrolment option, you can sign up for a group within the Groups tool.
Steps to sign up for a group:
- On the Course Home page, click Groups on the navigation bar.
- Click View Available Groups at the top of the page.
A page appears with a list of groups in which you can enrol.
- To see who is already enrolled in a group, click the number beside that group in the Members column.
- Click Join Group beside the group in which you wish to enrol.
Note: Groups may be limited to a specified number by the instructor.
