Enrolling yourself in a group in myCourses (for students)


OVERVIEW

Target audience: Students

Instructors can either assign students to groups manually or allow students to enroll themselves in a group of their choice. If the instructor has chosen the self-enrolment option, you can sign up for a group within the Groups tool.

Steps to sign up for a group:

  1. On the Course Home page, click Groups on the navigation bar.
  2. Click View Available Groups at the top of the page.

    A page appears with a list of groups in which you can enrol.

  3. To see who is already enrolled in a group, click the number beside that group in the Members column.
  4. Click Join Group beside the group in which you wish to enrol.

Note: Groups may be limited to a specified number by the instructor.
