Target audience: Anyone using the Outlook installed app or web-based Microsoft 365 mail app to access their McGill email.
The Focused Inbox feature in Outlook helps to separate messages that are less important to users. It creates two tabs in your inbox: Focused and Other.

1. Click the Settings icon (gear icon) at the top right corner and switch on the Focused Inbox option.
2. Go to Mail > Layout.
3. In Layout go to Focused Inbox. Check the box Sort messages into Focused and Other to enable.
4. Click Save.
Your new incoming messages will automatically be sorted, based on your previous behavior.
