Service overview
Asset Panda is a web-based software used to track and manage assets, such as research equipment, furniture, and more. It allows you to tag each asset with contact and location information and tracks any changes to the asset from initial purchase to end of life.

NOTE:
IT equipment purchased with University funds must be inventoried in accordance with the IT Asset Management Regulation. Most centrally-managed IT equipment, including computers and laptops, is managed through the IT Service Management system, ServiceNow.
Who can use it
McGill faculty and staff members can request the use of Asset Panda for their departments.

Availability
The service is available 24 X 7, except during planned maintenance or outages. Check the homepage of the IT Support site for announcements.

- Always log in using your McGill credentials.
- All information housed in the Asset Management tool (Asset Panda) should remain confidential.
- Always log out of the application when you are finished using it.
