Target audience: McGill faculty, staff, and students
It Takes All of Us is a learning program that strives to increase awareness of sexual violence, to ensure that our campus culture is based on respect and consent, and to help create a community free of sexual violence.
The program is mandatory for everyone at McGill as per the legal provisions mandated in Quebec Law P-22.1., and is accessed through myCourses.
For more information on the program, including transcripts, a program overview, FAQs and support resources, visit https://www.mcgill.ca/osvrse/education/online-modules

From start to finish, the program should take approximately 1 hour
If you are feeling overwhelmed at any point, you can take a break, find resources, or exit the modules in this training program. Your progress will be saved.
Required browsers: Google Chrome or Firefox. Note: Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge may not work.
Laptop or desktop computers provide the optimal experience, but the program is also supported on most mobile devices.
There are five buttons in the navigation bar at the top of the screen:
There are five modules in this training. With the help of character-driven scenarios, you will learn about sexual violence and who is impacted, how consent means more than "yes means yes," McGill's Policy Against Sexual Violence and associated resources, how to intervene if you see something inappropriate happening, and what to do if someone tells you they have been sexually assaulted.
Being informed about these issues is a baseline for healthy relationships because they arise in everyday life. Yet these issues can be difficult topics. If you are feeling overwhelmed at any point, remember you can click on the "Take a break" or "Need support" buttons in the navigation bar or simply close the program, and your progress will be saved.
A learning check will appear at the end of each module. You will notice it says "quiz," but don't worry! It's simply our way of ensuring you work through all five training modules, as required by Quebec Law P-22.1. To achieve a "complete" for the training, follow these steps (click on each checkmark symbol to reveal each step on the image below). Remember, the point of the learning checks is less about getting it right the first time and more about understanding why a response is the right one.
The learning check will appear after you review every section of a module. Then:
After completing a learning check, continue to the next module.
If you have fully completed the program, you should see the following page in the Conclusion module, which is set to release once you have completed all Learning Checks:
This is what you will see if you have not completed all the learning checks:
Once you have completed the entire program, you should:

While another institution's training might be similar to that of McGill University, there are important differences in the explanation of McGill's policies, reporting mechanisms, and resources for supporting survivors of sexual violence. For that reason, you must complete McGill's version of the online training even if you have completed the one offered by Concordia or another educational institution.

This message indicates that you have not yet completed the Academic Integrity Tutorial (AIT). To release the hold on your record related to the AIT, please complete the AIT in Minerva (under "Student Menu").
Students who have not completed the program by the applicable deadline will have a hold placed on their account in Minerva, preventing them from registering for their next term; the hold will be removed within 1 business day of completing the program.
Staff and faculty must complete the program by the applicable deadline. Those who do not will receive regular reminders and can be requested to report on completion in their annual activity reports.
