Crowdmark is an online collaborative grading and analytics platform, integrated with McGill’s myCourses Learning Management System, that helps educators, working alone or in teams, to more effectively evaluate student work.
The platform allows for easy distribution and collection of student work, offers tools for the assembly and management of grading teams, and provides an online workflow that streamlines grading and the delivery of rich feedback to students.
Instructors may choose two types of assessments:
To use Crowdmark from myCourses:
Once the instructor distributes an assessment to the class, each student will receive an email containing their own Crowdmark assignment link.
The first time you access Crowdmark from within myCourses, you will be asked to verify your email address. Enter your McGill email address; you will then receive a confirmation email message, to which you must reply.
After the first time, you will not be prompted to sign into Crowdmark when you access it from myCourses.
There is no cost associated with this service.
This service is available 24 X 7, except during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Check the Crowdmark website and the System Status page on the IT Support site for announcements regarding service interruptions.
