Service overview
McGill eRAP (Electronic Research Administration Portal) is based on software provided by InfoED Global that is used to support Electronic Research Administration processes in the following areas:
- Research Funding Checklist (RFC) (formerly known as the OSR checklist) (submission and approval route)
- Proposal Tracking (tracks all proposals, contracts and awarded data)
- Human Participant Research (submission, management and tracking of protocols)
Who can use it
The RFC submission service is available to McGill Faculty members.
Permission is required for department and faculty administrators for access to Proposal Tracking. For more information, email the Office of Sponsored Research or call 514-398-3996.
The Human Participant Ethics submissions service is available to McGill faculty members and student researchers.
How to request & access the service
How to access: Log in using your McGill email & password at https://infoed.is.mcgill.ca
RFC
Faculty members requiring access for the RFC submissions should already have access.
For issues accessing eRAP for RFC submissions, please email the Office of Sponsored Research or call 514-398-3996.
How to request Proposal Tracking access:
Department & Faculty administrators requiring proposal tracking (grants and awards) must email the Office of Sponsored Research or call 514-398-3996.
Human Participant Ethics
Faculty researchers and most students requiring access for Human Participant Ethics submissions should already have access.

There is no cost for this service.
Availability
This service is available 24 X 7, except during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Check the homepage of the IT Support Site for announcements regarding service interruptions.
