This service allows new McGill students to submit their pictures online for their student ID card and use in other McGill systems requiring student photos, such as myCourses, Banner, and Minerva.
Students sign into the photo submission website with their McGill username and password.
Photos can be uploaded in multiple formats, including .jpg, .png and .gif. Other photo requirements are listed in the system. If a McGill administrator rejects a photo, the student will be asked to upload a new one.

Students
All students eligible for using this service will receive an email from Enrollment Services with a link and instructions for uploading the picture.
If you are an eligible student and you have not received the email, please contact Service Point.
There is no cost associated with this service.
This service is available 24 X 7, except during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
See the list of scheduled monthly downtimes for the current year (August to August). If you experience access problems outside these scheduled downtimes, check the homepage of the IT Support site for announcements regarding service interruptions.
Where will my photo be stored and used?
Your student photo is not stored in the submission system; once approved it is transferred to Banner, McGill’s Student Information System. Your photo will then be used on your printed McGill ID Card as well as the Class List in Minerva and myCourses.
Consult the McGill Student ID card website for photo requirements and ID card pick-up location.
The submission website provides onscreen instructions and requirements for submitting photos.
