Service overview

The ClockWork portal is an application to support McGill’s Student Accessibility and Achievement (SAA) office, which helps McGill's diverse student body achieve their academic goals by providing accommodations for students with documented disabilities and additional learner support for students facing barriers in university.

Who can use it

McGill students, faculty, and SAA staff.

Students

Students can use the ClockWork portal to to book an appointment with an Access Services Advisor to discuss your barriers and to determine what resources or accommodations will help to make your time at McGill a success. Visit the Student Accessibility and Achievement homepage.

Faculty

Faculty can use the ClockWork portal to upload exams and provide additional exam details and parameters.

SAA staff

Staff can use the ClockWork portal to facilitate the implementation of SAA services.

How to request & access the service

Students

No registration is required; students can log into the portal with their McGill credentials.

Booking an appointment

To book an SAA appointment using ClockWork:

Access the Student Accessibility & Achievement website.
Click the ClockWork button at the top of the website.
Click Access ClockWork to go to the main ClockWork page.
Click the Schedule an Appointment icon.
Click the Schedule an Appointment button.
If you have not already created a profile with SAA, you will be promoted to do so. If you have already created a profile, go to Step 8.
Select Advising New Registration (either in-person or virtual) and select a time slot to schedule an appointment with an advisor. This step is only for students who have not previously created an SAA profile.
Select the corresponding appointment type to schedule it.

Faculty

Faculty automatically have access to ClockWork.

Staff

Only SAA staff requires access to ClockWork. They will be granted access if they are within the SAA organization.

Cost

There is no cost associated with this service.

Availability

This service is available 24 X 7, except during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Check the homepage of the IT Support site for announcements regarding service interruptions.

Best practices & policies

Never share your password or login credentials with anyone.
After you are finished using the application, always log out of it.
Never leave your computer unattended while you are logged in.
