Service overview

SailPoint is a leading provider of secure, enterprise-level identity management products. McGill has deployed SailPoint Identity IQ (IIQ) as part of its Identity and Access Management program.

SailPoint IIQ is an on-premise solution that provides a consolidated view of all individual digital identities at McGill, including students, staff, affiliates, alumni, and casuals.

SailPoint IIQ enables identity governance and administration by allowing administrators, such as resource account sponsors and IT technical support staff, to efficiently manage identities and access.

SailPoint IIQ sources identity data from the McGill systems Banner, Workday, and Active Directory.

SailPoint IIQ supports provisioning for all Active Directory accounts: It enables McGill’s business processes by granting and removing access for individual users, as their privileges may change throughout their time with the University.
