Service overview
MyCreds™: new service offered by McGill’s Enrolment Services unit built in collaboration by ARUCC (the Association of Registrars of the Universities and Colleges of Canada) and the vendor Digitary. The new service will allow students and alumni to have a secure digital credential sharing wallet via an online platform. The service will consist of two components:
- Staff online portal: select staff members from Enrolment Services will be able to login (using SSO) to the MyCreds™ staff portal. This will allow them to upload various documents (forms, proof of enrolment letters, custom enrolment letters…), digitally sign and authenticate these documents and issue them to students. This process ensures that they can securely share them with third-parties. Select staff members from the School of Continuing Studies will also use this service to create and issue badges (for micro-credentials) to their students.
- Students' online portal: when a document has been issued for a student by McGill through the MyCreds™ staff portal, they will be prompted to register for the MyCreds™ student portal. They can login using SSO or create an account. They will then be able to view and/or securely share their document with third parties after paying a fee. SCS students will be able to share their badges using the platform as well.
- Minerva ES Services (Enrolment Services eStore): students and alumni can login to Minerva and access the ES Services (Enrolment Services eStore) functionality to request official electronic transcripts among other forms and documents to be generated for them and made available on the MyCreds™ platform. Once students/alumni request an electronic official transcript, there is an API integration that runs every 5 minutes to process these requests and send the eTranscripts to the MyCreds™ platform.

Who can use it
