Services are provided to undergraduate students, graduate students, postdocs students, alumni.
Service Point's appointment application allows undergraduate students, graduate students, postdocs and alumni to book appointments for the following services:
Appointments can be booked directly from this online platform, from a computer or any mobile phone or tablet.
To obtain or replace a McGill ID card, please follow the instructions on the Student ID Card webpage.
This application is for McGill's students and alumni.
There is no need to request access to the service. The service is available for any student and alumni with valid credentials.
Prior students who do not have valid credentials are required to make an appointment by telephone.
Access the service: myServices Appointment Booking is available online in the Service Point contact page.
There is no cost associated to use the platform to book an appointment.
The service is available 24 X 7, except during planned maintenance or outages. Check the home page of the IT Support site for announcements.
I can't find any available appointment time slot this week and my request is urgent. What should I do?
Unfortunately, appointments are booked rapidly and you may have to book an appointment in the next week.
Try getting a virtual appointment in the Service Point contact page or, for time sensitive requests, contact them by phone.
myServices Appointment Booking platform was put in place following McGill's cloud services acquisition process and McGill's cloud directive. They both can be viewed on the cloud services website along with other useful information about our other cloud initiatives.
There is no official training available. The booking system is similar to a number of other online appointment scheduling systems. It is easy to use and should not require any special equipment, knowledge or abilities.
Online help is available on the platform.
Student support: If you encounter a problem with the platform while you are at Service Point, please see a Service Point representative on site.
If you encounter a problem with the platform from another location, i.e., at home or elsewhere on campus, contact the McGill IT Service Desk.
