OVERVIEW
Target audience: Site administrators, Site Managers
When creating a page, there are a number of configuration options available on the right-hand column of the screen. The purpose of this article is to provide a brief definition of what each is used for.

NOTE: this article refers to a process to be used on sites that have already migrated to the New WMS.

Revision information
- Last saved/Author: provides information about the previous save of the page.
- Published on: allows a custom publish date.
- Revision log message: a text box that allows you to provide notes invisible to the public regarding that particular revision.
Menu settings
- Menu link title: will autofill with page title, can be customized if the menu link should have a different title than the page title.
- Description: will provide hover text.
- Parent link: set the page’s position in the menu here. The page will exist beneath the parent link in the menu structure.
- Weight: set the position of the page relative to the other pages in the same menu level. Use an integer between 50 (lowest appearing page) and -50 (highest on the list).
Meta tags
- Basic tags: add information about the page. See the help text for each option for information. Note: where indicated, tags are no longer used by search engines.
- Advanced tags: add advanced information (not needed in most cases) including Geographical information, Robots checkboxes (allow you to indicate if pages/images should not be indexed by search engines) and other options as described by the help text below each box.
- Open graph: these tags (not needed in most cases) are used to control how social networking sites interpret the site’s content. See help text below each option for more information.
- Twitter Cards: these tags (not needed in most cases) are used to control how Twitter interprets the site’s content. See help text below each option for more information.
Other configuration options
- XML sitemap allows you to customize the way the page behaves in the XML sitemap.
- Scheduling options: allows you to set a publish/unpublish date for your content.
- Related content: Allows you to create a list of related content on your site by adding the url. Click into the field and type the first few words to find your page. If you would like to add more than one item, click Add another item.
- URL alias: allows you to set a custom url for your page that is different than the menu link title.
