Set a Focal Point

When an image is uploaded to the WMS with no focal point selection, the image will be centred by default. If the WMS needs to automatically crop an image to fit a certain shape, important parts of the image may be lost or the image will appear off-centre. When the Focal Point feature is used, the most important part of the image (e.g., a person's face) will always display.

  1. Navigate to the Media tab and locate the image.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Hover above the icon of the image and a cursor will appear.
