Target audience: Site Managers, site editors
Scheduling is a feature in the Web Management System (WMS) that enables content to be published or unpublished at a specified date and time.

If your site has not yet migrated see the Index of documentation for the McGill Web Management System.
This article refers to the configuration specific to the Call-to-Action block. General steps to create a block can be found in the Create an configure a Global block, and Layout builder articles. The difference between global and layout blocks is explained in the article: Global vs Layout blocks.
When viewing the page as a logged in user, you will see the Scheduled date and time at the top of the screen.
Note: Scheduling runs approximately every 15 minutes. This means if a page is set to be published tomorrow at 10:00 a.m., it may remain unpublished until 10:15 a.m.
You can also schedule content to unpublish. Use the “Unpublish on” and “Unpublish state” when completing the steps.
If content is set to be published at a later date, ensure that the Moderation state stays on Draft or Needs review. If the Moderation state is changed to "Published" after the scheduling options are set, this will override the "Publish on" date.
Content revisions cannot be scheduled. If a published page is scheduled to be published on a later date, the page will be unpublished until the scheduled date. If a published page is unpublished this way, remove the scheduling to restore the page to a published state.
