Set the faculty or area of study in the WMS


OVERVIEW

Target audience: Site Administrators

Site Administrators can associate their site with their faculty or area of study in the site settings of their WMS site. This setting makes no visible change on the site itself. It is used when filtering search results on the WMS.

Setting the faculty or area of study:

To set the site faculty or area of study, configure the Site Settings:

  1. Sign in to your site using your McGill credentials.
  2. Click Configuration in the site administration menu, then click Site Settings.
  3. In the Faculties or area of study section, select one or more faculties from the list.
  4. Click Save configuration at the bottom of the Site Settings page.

A confirmation message will appear at the top of the screen confirming the change.
